Reports, Account Reports, Account Income and Forecast

To open the Account Income and Forecast Report, from the Report menu, click Report Explorer and select the Account Reports group.

Report

DescriptionThe Account Income and Forecast Report displays the forecasted Income (including Interest and deferred income) for Accounts for a specified date range.
PurposeBy grouping and summarising Accounts perhaps into Account Types, or Dealers, you can use the report to forecast future income for key management reports.


Reports, Income and Forecast Report

Select the Order By and Accounts to show

Order By

Select the order in which the report is to appear, by Code, Name, Date Opened, Date Quoted, Overdue, Overdue Days, Contractual Overdue, Contractual Overdue Days,Balance, Next Payment Date, Last Payment Date or Maturity Date.

Descending

Tick to display in a descending order or leave blank to display in an ascending order.

Accounts

Select the Accounts to be included or leave blank to include all.

Alternatively use F6 to look up Accounts.

Date As At

Enter the date the report will be calculated "to".

Entity

Select an Entity Id from the dropdown list. If licenced for Entities and there is multiple Entities within the database this field is mandatory.

The report can only be run for a ONE Entity at a time. This is because Entities may have different Financial years defined, therefore there is no concept of grouping by Entity for this report.

Summarise Accounts?

Tick to summarise the elements for each account.

Include a Total Column?

Tick to include a Total column, calculating the actual total of all columns.

Elements

Select the Elements to be included or leave blank to include all.

Alternatively use F6 to look up Elements.

Frequency

Select from the drop down list the Frequency for the report, by Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, 4 Weekly, 30 days, Monthly, EOM (End of Month), 2 Months, Quarterly, 6 Months, Yearly or MTD/YTD. The frequency is not limited to the list shown and any valid date cycle can be entered. For example M20 for 20th of the month.

Columns

Select the number of "Columns" for the report, e.g. 1 to 99. Any number of columns selected over 12 will not display well on a Preview and is instead designed for the report to be exported.

Rounding

Select the level of rounding required, from Normal, Whole, or Thousands.
