Before using the finPOWER Connect General Ledger Export you must configure a few options.

• Link the General Ledger Account to a Element.
• Set the default the Export Type and Database Name that you are Exporting to. This is set up from the Global Settings, General GL and Accounting Page.

These link finPOWER Connect to the General Ledger by creating a chart of accounts that matches the chart of accounts in your General Ledger, and then linking each element to the correct account.
