PPSR users have an option to create an individual or an organisation PPSR account. It is strongly suggested that you create an "Organisation PPSR Account" and add Admin users.
- All API users must belong to an organisation account.
- You cannot belong to more than one organisation.
- You can have more than one Secured Party Group (SPG).
- You must use the same RealMe login to subscribe up to the API and create an Organisation Account on the PPSR Website.

In addition to being a registered user, you will need the appropriate permissions to:
- create and maintain a secured party group, and
- create and maintain financing statements
A user who creates a PPSR organisation account, by default becomes an administrator or an Admin user. Administrators have elevated privileges that allow them to:
- add new PPSR organisation users and maintain their accounts
- delete users that are no longer with the organisation
- grant user permissions
- maintain PPSR organisation account
- run certain reports within finPOWER Connect, e.g. the PPSR Transaction Report (NZ).
| It is strongly recommended that a PPSR organisation account always has at least two administrators to ensure that access and ability to maintain the PPSR organisation account is not compromised if one administrator is unavailable or has left the business. |
When you login with RealMe for the first time, you will be asked to choose from two options; select these options:
- I don't have an Activation Code (All API users should use this).
- Set up as an administrator of a new PPSR organisation account.
To create an organisation account:
- When you first login on the PPSR, select 'I don't have an Activation Code'.
- Click 'Register New user' button.
- You are presented with Register New User screen. Ensure that the option to create an organisation account is ticked.
- Fill in the user name and contact details.
- Agree to the terms and conditions (under construction), Click 'Next'.
- You will be presented with the 'Create My Organisation' screen.
- You need to enter the following information:
- Organisation name and type (which will also include First Name and Last Name).
- Address and email details.
- Contact details for the Organisation.
- Email Notification settings.
- Click 'Create Organisation'.
