Elements are the analysis or breakdown of all amounts for the Account, from Cash Price, Extra Charges, Interest, Finance Charges, Deposits, Payments, Journals and Fees. They are therefore the smallest component or element of the Account's balance.

There are elements for each component or value in the original Account and also for any transaction entered against it once it is written.
