If you do not have a RealMe Login, click the RealMe Site and follow the instructions below.
- Enter your Email address details.
- Enter a preferred Username.
- Enter your Mobile number.
- Enter an Alternative contact number.
- Enter a Password; your password must be at least 7 characters long. If it is less than 12 characters, it must contain at least 3 of the below:
- uppercase (A-Z)
- lowercase (a-z)
- numbers (0-9)
- symbols (e.g. #, $, !, @, ^, &, *, etc.)
- Choose 3 security questions and answers.
- Set a secret PIN (optional). If you need to reset your password, you can use your secret PIN to complete this online. This needs to be:
- a five digit number
- have no more than 3 consecutive numbers
- not repeat the same digit more than twice
- If happy with the Terms and Conditions tick the "I accept the RealMe terms of use" checkbox and save.
You are now able to use your RealMe login.
| A RealMe login is used for a number of different NZ Companies and Government departments, e.g. applying for or renewing a Passport and accessing myIR for the Inland Revenue. Therefore, it is important that where you are using your RealMe Login for work related activities that you keep your login credentials safe and do not share these with other users. |
