Secured Party Groups (SPGs) are not directly linked to an Organisation, in other words, an SPG does not belong to an Organisation. However, you can associate an SPG with your Organisation.

You cannot view Financing Statements from within the PPSR website if your Organisation does not have authority over the SPG. However, using the API, e.g. within finPOWER Connect, if you have the SPG Id and password you can access that SPG and its Financing Statements.

Claiming authority over an SPG isn't necessary when using finPOWER Connect, but we recommend you do this, so you can use the PPSR website to view Financing Statements (if required).
