Secured Party Group, Overview
<< Previous |

To open the Secured Party Groups form, from the Admin menu, click Secured Party Groups.

Secured parties are a central identity within the PPSR. They are essentially the Creditor, Lender or Person taking a security interest over certain collateral. Before registering a Financing Statement in the PPSR, a secured party creates a 'Secured Party Group' (SPG) to represent itself and Financing Statements are registered against that secured party group.

The Secured Party Group (SPG) defaults from the Branch, Entity and Global Settings.

  • You would normally first create your SPG in the PPSR system, then add these details to finPOWER Connect.
  • Click Obtaining SPG Credentials for more information.
