Security Statement, PPSR, Renew Financing Statement

Unless renewed, a security interest registered on the PPSR will automatically expire at the date and time shown on the Financing Statement, which is typically five years after it was registered.

To Renew the Financing Statement:

From the Security menu, click Security Statements.
Select the relevant Security Statement.
Go to the PPSR section and click "Renew Financing Statement".

It may be more desirable to use the PPSR Update wizard to Renew in bulk, instead of Renewing Financing Statements individually. If the wizard is used on a regular basis, i.e. daily, it is less likely that Renewals will be missed.

If you fail to renew a Financing Statement before the expiry date, it will expire automatically. Once a Financing Statement has expired it cannot be renewed.
