From the menu option File, Import/Export Information wizard, finPOWER Connect allows you to export many areas combined as one file, so that they can be imported into another Database. These areas include, Clients, Global Settings, User Preferences (for the current user), finPOWER Connect Cloud Settings and the Admin Libraries. This allows for simple duplication of items between companies, and can greatly speed up the creation of a new database.

The majority of Items are Exported in an XML format that allows easy Importing into the new database. The entire item is Exported and then Imported, so no setup is required at the other end.

Many other areas including Accounts and Security Statements will also allow you to export records, however they are separate to this Utility.
