The process for Closing Pending Accounts or writing off an Account with a small debit/credit balance is simplified by the use of the Close Accounts Wizard. This is similar to the "Account Close" wizard, the main difference being instead of entering and creating a Bank Transaction (for the payment) a simple journal transaction is created to close the Account. This is important when interfacing to a General Ledger system.
