The following is an explanation of the following fields.

Purge Database, Purge Bank Transaction Options

Select details that will be cleared

Tick the following checkboxes to select the details to be cleared:

Clear all non-Admin Tables

Perform a 'Master Clear' and remove Accounts, Transactions etc.

Select to remove Account, Client, Security, Transactions, Audit and other information that has been added.
The Master Clear will not remove 'Admin' data; it includes External Parties and excludes Special Clients, e.g. Clients linked to External Parties and Branches. However External Party Employees will be removed.

You may be asked for a password in order to complete this process. This is to prevent anyone from completing this process by mistake. The password to use is 'PURGE'.

WARNING: This facility removes data and the process is irreversible; ensure you have a backup first.

Running a Database purge creates an Audit record which records who ran the purge and the parameters used.
