Reports, Previewing Reports, Saving and Loading Reports
|

While finPOWER Connect provides the flexibility to preview a report prior to printing, you can also save reports to file for temporary or permanent storage.
These Reports can easily be re-opened and printed at a later date.

  • Reports are saved in "RDF" (Report Document File) format.
  • You can also export the Report in other file formats, e.g. "PDF" (Portable Document Format). However, the RDF file format is the "native" file format used, and therefore the only format that can 100% guarantee the report is reproduced exactly when re-opened.
  • When a Report is opened again you can use any of the features available as if it had just been created. For example, you might export or email it in PDF file format or search for text.

  2. Form the Reports menu, click Save Report.

  3. The "Save Report Document File" dialog will appear.
  4. Select the location to save the Report to and enter a file name.
  5. Click Save to save the file.
