To Group Rows by category

Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Show Group By Box to show a new row above the grid. Click and drag the heading of the column you wish to group by into the Group By Box to group by that column.

This will show rows in groups of each record with a total line in between groups, just as Reports can do.

To remove the grouping, you can click and drag the column heading off the grid, or drag it back into position in the grid header line.
