This page refers to the different fields available on the Calendar page of the Entities section of the Admin Libraries.
Below the image of the page you will find itemised descriptions of the fields and a basic guide of what is required.
Year Start
Select from the dropdown, the Month the Company's Financial Year starts.
Tax Year Start
Select from the dropdown the Month the Company's Tax Year starts.
The Tax Year may differ from the Company Financial Year, and the Tax office requires reports "As at" a standardised date. Additionally the New Zealand tax year ends on the 31st of March and Australia on the 30th of June.
Calendar
Select the Business day Calendar for the Entity. This can be overridden by the Bank Account if it differs from the Entity setting.
Calendar
Select the length of Withholding Tax, either 1 Month or 6 Months.
Period
Select the length of Accounting periods. This is used to default the From/To dates in the Close Account Period Wizard.
