Enter an Account Code here, or change the Account that has defaulted to this field if required.
If you opened the Close Account Wizard by selecting
Close Account from the Action List on the left of the Account Form, the currently displayed Account will be displayed here by default.
Enter the date to close the Account. This can be a future or past date.
If closing an Account on a future date (perhaps you are doing this to get a future closing balance for a settlement quote) finPOWER Connect assumes that no more payments will be made
If you are back-dating the Account closure, Accrued Interest and Fees will be recalculated and any transactions already posted will still be taken into account. A warning will display in the Summary advising of the total of transactions dated after the Close Date. |
Choose a method from the dropdown list. There is no difference in the closure process, but the Method selected here will be displayed on the Account form Status and Key Details pages.
Select Notes from the dropdown list, or enter closure notes (if permissions allow freehand entry of Notes).
