Code and Description
- Code - Each Account Role requires a unique code of up to five characters. A short but meaningful code is best.
- Description - Enter a description of the Account Role. This should be a description that easily identifies this Account Role.

Untick to prevent this Account Role being available to new records.
Role Type
Select one of the following from this dropdown list:
- Owner - the Client that is the main Account holder. One Main Client must be defined for each Account.
- Guarantor - is the Client that has 'Guaranteed to pay' the debt of the Main Client should they default on their Account obligations.
- Other - are other Clients linked to the Account, mostly for information purposes. These clients would normally be excluded from receiving letters and being linked to the PPSR.
Short Description and Icon
- Short Description - enter a short Description for this Account Role, which will be displayed in grids.
- Icon - select the Icon applicable to this Account Role, which will be displayed in grids.
