<para> This is only applicable when opening an Intersoft database via the ISDatabase class (not the ISDatabaseHandler class) and simply checks/writes a record in the ISLock table. </para> <para> Administrators can still access the database (albeit in ReadOnly mode) if a database is opened exclusively and can use the Tools, Database, Users and Locks form to clear the exclusive lock. </para>
