WorkflowType, Workflow Item, New Outcome

Specific the Outcome and optionally, a Description

Outcome

Enter a short description of the Outcome e.g. Yes or No, or the list of options for a Question, e.g. Phone Bill or Power Bill etc. The Outcome displays on the Workflow when the Item is completed.

If you want two or more actions to occur from the selection of the Outcome, add both with the same Outcome code.


Item Group type Workflow Items can have the following special outcomes:

[All Success]When the Item group is reached, if ALL items are successful then it will automatically action with the specified action.
[Any Success]When the Item group is reached, if ANY of the items are successful it will automatically action with the specified action.
[All Fail]When the Item group is reached, if ALL items have failed it will automatically action with the specified action.
[Any Fail]When the Item group is reached, if ANY of the items have failed it will automatically action with the specified action.

Description

Enter a more detailed description of the Outcome.

Success

If a 'Success' outcome is selected then the updates, e.g. the Flag and Monitor Categories defined on the Other Updates page are performed.

Icon

Select the Icon to be displayed. If no Icon is selected, the Icon displayed graphically will be based on the success of the Item. Positive outcomes will display a green tick and unsuccessful outcomes display a red cross.

Action

Add Item Group

Value = specify the group to be added.

  • The specified group will be inserted after the current group.
Add Item Groups Items

Value = specify the Group to have its items added.

  • Items from the specified group are inserted immediately after the current item
  • NB: This Option is not available for Group outcomes.
Allocate to Supervisor

  • Workflow will be allocated to the current users supervisor
  • If current user has no supervisor then the Item will be set to “n/a”
  • The recall date will always be set to immediate recall so that the supervisor is alerted to the allocation
Allocate to User

Value = Specified New User

  • The recall date will always be set to immediate recall so that the new user is alerted to the allocation
Cancel and Start New Workflow

Value = Specify New Workflow Code to be started

  • Set the status of this workflow to Cancelled and initiates a new workflow
Cancel Workflow

  • Sets the status of the workflow to Cancelled
Close and Start New Workflow

Value = Specify New Workflow Code to be started

  • Sets the status of the workflow to Close and initiates a new workflow
Close Workflow

  • Sets the status of the workflow to Closed
Complete group with Outcome

  • Will complete the current Workflow Item, skip all remaining Workflow Items in the current Item Group and then action the Item Group with the specified Outcome.
None

  • No specific action, workflow will just continue to the next item in the group
  • Used to allow the Item to action recording Outcome with Success/Fail graphic to be shown
Repeat Item Group

  • Inserts the same Item group again immediately after the current group
  • Any unprocessed items in the current group will be set as “skipped”
  • Current position will be at the start of the repeated group
Set Recall DateValue = Date Cycle. Eg. Immediate, 1 Day, 2 Days...
Skip to Item Group

  • Inserts the specified Group after the current Group
  • Any unprocessed items in the current group will be set as “skipped”
  • Current Group Outcome is set to “Skipped”
  • Focus current position will be at the start of that new group
Start Workflow

  • Initiates a new workflow while continuing to run the current one.
  • Value = Specify Group to be Added
  • Specified Group will be inserted after the current group

Define Template Notes

Define Template Notes to be used when actioning a Workflow Item. These can be defined on a per-Outcome basis.

NB: These will override the Template Notes defined on the Workflow Type Item.
