To open the Security Enquiry form, from the Security menu, click Security Enquiry.

Search details

VIN

Enter the VIN number of the vehicle to search for.

Options

Include Valuation?

Tick to include the Dealer Trade Price as shown in the HTML Report.

This is extracted from the HTML Report, and therefore relies upon the HTML Report being available and the Report format consistent.
There is a checkbox in Global Settings, Securities, CarHistory page to default to include the Valuation if ticked.

Include Sales Comparison?

Tick to include Sales Comparison details in the PDF and HTML Reports.

This requires the Odometer and Sales Price to be entered.
There is a checkbox in Global Settings, Securities CarHistory page to default to include the Sales Comparison if ticked.

Odometer

Enter the Odometer reading to Valuation (without Sales Comparison) for a more accurate valuation.

Sales Price

Enter the Sales Price to Valuation (without Sales Comparison) for a more accurate valuation.

The permission "SecurityStmt.CarHistory.NewDealerReport" can be used to allow/deny the user permission to create a new Dealer Report.

Click the Next button to go to the Security Enquiry Results page.
Click the Back button to go back to the previous page.
Click the Cancel button to exit out of the query.
