Cost Centres Overview

To open the Cost Centres form, from the Admin menu, click Cost Centres.

finPOWER Connect includes the concept of Cost Centres for tracking calls made to third party interfaces such as Credit Bureaus.

Some advantages of this are:

  • Not all Services are configured under Cost Centres, but may be in future versions. Services not currently handled by Cost Centres are configured in Global Settings/User Preferences.
  • Cost Centres require the Branches Add-On as a pre-requisite.

Not Licenced for Cost Centres?

If you are not licenced for Cost Centres, there is still a GLOBAL Cost Centre, which you use to configure services in.

The GLOBAL Cost Centre Code cannot be changed as this is a default Cost Centre that is required.
