finPOWER Connect allows you to calculate and track Accounts made to Clients. Each Account is recorded and all transactions are held for the life of the Account. Each Account may have a status of Quote, Open, Closed (Pending) or Closed.
Quote Accounts are Accounts that have not yet been finalised and the Account's financial details may be changed as necessary before it is actually accepted. However, you cannot post transactions to a Quote Account.
Open Accounts have been accepted and are currently being processed. You may post transactions to Open Accounts.
Financial details cannot be changed on an Open Account once transactions have been processed against it. However, if an Open Account has not as yet had any transactions processed it may be changed back to status "Quote" which allows financial details to be changed.
The financial details of a Account cannot be changed once it moves past the Quote status. If you wish to change the details or add any extras to the Account you must either;
Closed (Pending) Accounts allow Reversed Payment to be entered against without first having to re-open the Account.
Closed Accounts are those Accounts that have been paid in full. You may process transactions to a Closed Account however a warning will appear "Account is Closed". To process transactions to a closed Account if will first need to be re-opened.
